I grew up playing CCYF football in the fall and Glenwood little league baseball in the spring. Later, while attending high school at King’s Way Christian, I was a three-sport athlete and was elected student council president two years in a row. During this period, I was an active member of the Boy Scouts of America, eventually achieving the rank of Eagle Scout with Troop 358 here in Vancouver. After graduating high school in the top 10% of Washington State graduates that year, I continued my education at Whitworth University in Spokane.
